Seen as one of the top prospects in the 2024 MLB draft, Yesavage was picked by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round with the 20th overall pick.
He later signed with the team on August 1, 2024, for a $4.1 million bonus. He began the 2025 season with the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays.
On September 15, 2025, he was added to the 40-man roster and called up to the major leagues, making his debut against the Tampa Bay Rays.
He got his first career win on September 27, again against the Rays. On October 5, Yesavage made his playoff debut as the starting pitcher in Game 2 of the ALDS against the New York Yankees.
