Career Details
He spent his first three years as a pro playing on the PGA Tour Canada, where he ranked 35th in 2013. He got his first professional win at the Staal Foundation Open in July 2015.
That same year, he made his PGA Tour debut at the Canadian Open and finished tied for 41st place. He topped the PGA Tour Canada rankings, earning full status on the Web.com Tour for 2016.
In 2021, he lost his PGA Tour status after falling out of the top 500 in world rankings and finishing 174th in the FedEx Cup standings.
At the 2025 Players Championship in March, Spaun was leading after three rounds. But in the playoff, he hit his shot into the water on the 17th hole and ended up with a triple bogey.
