In 2013, he played all 16 games, starting six, and recorded 4.5 sacks along with 27 solo tackles. In his first season with the Colts in 2014, he played nine games, starting three, and had 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and 34 tackles.
On March 11, 2014, he signed a five-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts worth over $30 million. He was released by the Colts on March 24, 2017.
Later that year, on November 1, he joined the Washington Redskins. After the season ended, Jones announced his retirement on Instagram.
